(D2) How does my Advertisement link to the Client Brief

Throughout the creation of our audio-visual promotion, we tried our best to stick to our original ideas, as well as the pre-production materials that we created specifically to use in production. We translated these initial ideas from our storyboard and mind-map straight to the filming of the production. Some of these shots turned out exactly how we panned them to and some did not. A well as this, along the way we created some new shots which we thought were suitable to use in our final video. Storyboard Comparisons -                                          This was one of the first shots that we initially had in mind. I drew the storyboard to be more of a level shot of the tonal knobs, however this changed within the actual production. We decided that the angled shot looked more realistic, and had a more canted and stylish feel to it. I drew this shot as the 4th slot in the storybo...

(M3)Justify the Editing Effects used in our Audio-Visual Promotion

In order to get feedback from a new audience, I decided to create a Microsoft forms questionnaire. The questionnaire only had 8 questions as they are simple and quick, so that we do not ask too much information from the viewers but we still gain enough information from them. The questions range from choice answers to writing answers, so that I can gain more opinionated responses. This means that we can work closely based on our audiences feedback. This is a good way of improving our promotion as it is taking insight straight from the audiences that will be viewing our advertisements. This makes tailoring our advertisement to an audience much easier This is what the Microsoft Form I created for our promotion looks like: I received 5 responses for my questionnaire from people, which is good as it means that we have 5 sets of information and opinions. This means that we have more information to act upon, and have received feedback which gives us a chance to make our advertisement better f...

(P6) Completed Edit

Final Video with the completed edit -  The final edit of the audio visual promotion is the edit which includes all of the transitions, text and effects to make the video into its finalised advertisement. This part takes much longer than the offline edit as it has a lot more intricate details, and takes steps to finalise which takes a longer time compared to the offline edit. For the editing software, we either continued using premier pro or switched to After Effects. For our promo, we used After Effects as it has a wider range of effects and helps with the overall composition of our video. We decided the Calla would complete the main Promo Edit, as she has worked with After Effects previously so already has the knowledge of how to use and create certain effects. We will all create our individual edits though, so that we can highlight our individual styles.   First of all, we tried to change the aspect ratio of the video to see if the cinematic black bars would look better. The...
